"NOT A LOVE STORY"
May 3, 2004- I saw you crying nea on a cool summer night. I asked you the cause of your teears and you said, "Idont know." I could never leave such a pretty face filled with sadness. We sat by the sand as I try to console you. Yes, I saw a sweet smile, and I saw the beginnigs of a beautiful friendship.
A month had passed and every night we'd meet on the same old place. We shared laughter and cried together. You even thought me how to love.
One night, when I was not able to get to our meeting place, a knock on my door disturbed my sleep. you were there when I opened the door. You asked me why I didn't come and I told you I got sick. A flash of concern was seen on your face as you touched my forehead. Feeling that the time was right, I tried to stand with all my might, reached for a small box beside my bed and knelt. I looked into your brown eyes. I smiled and gave you the box as I professed my love.
As tears started to pour from your eyes, I asked for your reply. A kiss and a hug was all you have given, which means goodbye.
The sun had risen and I woke up hoping to kiss the lady I hace loved, yet to my dismay you were already gone. As the sun began to set, I ran to the shore hoping to see your beautiful face no more. Fate seem to be cruel, because I saw the lady by the shore no more.
Two days had passed without any trace of you. I walked by your house to see your face but an old woman answered the door. She thought I was crazy, and then she told me the story about this beautiful girl with magnificent brown eyes. I cannot believe what I have heard from her.
Doubting her story, I sought for the tombstone that the old lady instructed me to search. I picked up my spade and dug a hole. With each stroke the rain seemed to get stronger. With my last strength I made a final stroke. I opened the tomb and my heart was crushed with great pressure as I saw you lying still untouched and beautiful wearing the ring I gave you. As I looked up to chech the tombstone, what I saw sent chills to my bones.
DIED: MAY 3, 2004. IT WAS THE VERY SAME DAY I MET YOU...
